JULIE GARCÉS (Editor) is a freelance feature film editor from Miami, FL.
Joining the Local 700 Motion Picture Editor’s Guild as an apprentice in 2000, she has worked on films such as Fever Pitch, The Homesman and Inglourious Basterds as an assistant editor. She has also found a home in the independent film community, editing films such as Life of a King, the true story of an ex-felon using chess to teach troubled teenagers in Washington, D.C. The film premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival in 2013.
She has also edited On Broadway and Son of an Afghan Farmer. Her current project is an indie romantic comedy entitled Who Gets the Dog?
